Labrum London, a progressive menswear brand merging West African and Western heritage, approached Creative Concepts with the ambition to showcase their unique narrative through a visually captivating e-commerce website. The challenge was to create an online platform that effectively communicated Labrum's mission of narrating untold stories of the West African diaspora, while seamlessly merging British tailoring with West African values. The goal was to inspire the launch of a new generation of design while attracting a global audience seeking purposeful and culturally-rich fashion.

Objective

Our objective was to design and develop a full-fledged e-commerce website that would embody Labrum London's distinctive brand ethos and seamlessly blend West African heritage with British tailoring. We aimed to create an immersive digital experience that conveyed the brand's philosophy of directional and purposeful design while celebrating the untold stories of the diaspora.

Approach

Recognising the significance of Labrum's narrative, we embarked on a thoughtful approach to design and develop their e-commerce platform. We drew inspiration from West African art, textiles, and motifs to infuse the website with a rich cultural essence. The design celebrated the brand's heritage while maintaining a contemporary and elegant look.
